Flora is an Otago graduate who has lived here in Nelson for over 15
years with her husband and two, now teenage, sons.
She has worked at Nelson Hospital as a consultant Obstetrician and
Gynaecologist for all of that time. Experience gained from sabbatical
attachments at St Michael's Hospital in Bristol and at a small rural
hospital in northern India has proved invaluable.
Flora specialises in laparoscopic surgery and has completed a
course in advanced laparoscopic techniques in San Francisco. She has
also been involved in teaching laparoscopic methods in NZ.
Flora believes in providing affordable accessible healthcare to all.
When not working Flora enjoys tramping, mountain biking, skiing, dog
walking and everything else the Nelson region has to offer.
